Scott F. Owen
Associate
Scott is a Litigation Associate at the Firm. He regularly represents clients in local, state, and federal courts. In addition, he is experienced helping clients resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolutions.
Scott earned his Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School. Scott graduated with Magna Cum Laude and Justinian Society honors at Albany Law School and received the award for Second Best Oral Advocate, in the Domenick L. Gabrielli Moot Court Appellate Advocacy Competition.
While attending Albany Law School, Scott was an active member of the school’s community. Scott served as the Executive Editor for New York Appeals for Albany Law Review, participated as a Volunteer Income Tax Assistant, and was the Vice President of the Business Law Society. Further, he coordinated volunteers and participated in the Small Business Legal Advice Clinic and interned for the Justice Center’s Community Economic Development Clinic. Also, Scott was a Research Assistant focusing on novel areas of law.
Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in History, with a minor in Philosophy, from the University of Delaware.
In his free time, Scott enjoys running, hiking, and playing chess.
