In April 2022, The Wagoner Firm’s Mark J. Wagner, Jr. was chosen by the New York Cannabis Growers and Processors Association to serve as Chair of its Capital Region Committee. Mark was selected from a competitive group of applicants based on his background and experience with medical marijuana licensing and applications, the Marihuana Regulation & Taxation Act (“MRTA”), and his work with adult-use cannabis licenses now becoming available to New Yorkers. In this role, Mark will arrange networking and promotional events for the Capital Region cannabis industry and those interested in joining or learning more about the developing opportunities for entrepreneurs in New York.
On May 26, 2022, the New York Cannabis Growers and Processors Association Capital Region Committee will hold its first meeting at The Blane Annex, located at 1 Steuben Place, Albany, New York 12207. Entrepreneurs, business owners, and members of the local cannabis industry are invited to join us to network, collaborate, and discuss New York’s emerging cannabis market and the impacts it may have on the Capital Region. Those interested in learning more about adult-use cannabis opportunities are also encouraged to come. The event will run from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm, and light fare and beverages will be provided.
