On, June 23, 2022, The Cannabis Control Board held a scheduled meeting. During the meeting, Damian Fagon was appointed as Chief Equity Officer. Damian has an experienced background in industrial hemp, cannabis, economic development, and agriculture. His presence has helped scale cannabis and industrial hemp cultivation operations in New York and the Caribbean.
Additionally, the Cannabis Control Board released that the application window for Adult-Use Conditional Processors will open on Tuesday, June 28 and close on Wednesday, August 31. These conditional processors will play a critical role in New York’s supply chain, bringing products onto the shelves of New York’s first retail cannabis dispensaries.
